I had locs for a decade and braids for a year after that, so product build up has always been an issue.  Washing long hair is always a drag so if I'm going through the hassle - Ima need the products to work and really give me the feeling of a clean head of hair and remove all the buildup of oils and products I have been using between washes - which could be a week or two months IYKYK - cuz who knows when I will be in the mood to have another wash day.
